Welch Trip January 6 – 8, 2023
This trip will be a drive up trip again this year.
Some members from the club are planning on driving up to Red Wing, MN the weekend of January 6-8 to ski at Welch Village. We will be calling the AmericInn in Red Wing to see if they will offer a group rate for the club, as they did last year.
When I know more I will pass it on to Ron Dewey so he can do an email blast to the club.
Hotel reservations, lift ticket, rentals, and lesson purchases are your responsibility. Here is the information on the two hotels where some people may be staying.

Important Information: For anyone planning to ski up at Welch Village this season, please be advised that all skiers need to sign a “Release of Liability Form” in advance on-line. This form is then good for the entire 2021/2022 season. A separate Liability Form is also required in advance for anyone renting ski or snowboard equipment at Welch. All those planning to ski at Welch Village should access the Welch Village Website ( www.welchvillage.com ) and click on “Tickets, Passes & Rentals,” then “Release of Liability Forms,” to submit their liability form. If this is not done in advance (since folks are not informed of this requirement in Welch’s Visitor’s Guide), it is my understanding that one will have to do it on-line via their phone when at Welch, where Internet services are sometimes not very good. CMSC Chicago Week – Mammoth Mountain
February 25 – March 4, 2023
We have filled all 10 spaces we reserved on this trip. We should be able to get more spaces for anyone that wants to go.
The flights and ground prices are locked in. Price for double occupancy Queen size beds $2,259 per skier, King size bedroom $2,429 per skier. Check with Jim for price reductions for Ikon, 80+ years old, Seniors 65-79, non Chicago flyers and/or bus travelers.
Deposit $300; 2nd payment $350, July 21; 3rd payment $350, September 15; 4th payment $350, October 20; 5th payment $350, November 17; balance due, December 15.
