Fa La La It’s time it’s that time of year again. Decorating, Shopping, and waiting to see what’s under the tree. Don’t forget the milk and cookies, or would Santa preferred cheese and crackers and something from the bar?
Report: There was a nice turn out for the meeting and eat at the Metro Grill. It was nice to see everyone there. Our next Meet and Eat will be on Wednesday, December 6 at Cemeno’s at 6pm. 1630 Essington Road please RSVP, if you will be going.
Things to do: The Rialto will present. “Church Basement Ladies Christmas” on Sunday, December 3, at 2 pm. Tickets are from $17 – $45. This sounds like an afternoon of good comedy.
Morris is having a WinterFest Market, Downtown on Sunday the 10th. Not sure what it has to offer. But you can check it out.
The Rialto also will have Wayne Newton on December 14, Thursday at 7:30pm.
LaSalle has a fantastic Christmas light drive, Though it’s well worth the trip. Its Celebration of Lights at Rotary Park, 2845 E. 5th Rd. It’s free, just a donation and you can listen to music on your radio on channel 106.1 FM. It’s open weekdays 5 to 9 and Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 10 load up the car, it’s amazing!
